Sessions last one-hour, and occur twice a week, Tuesday 6pm and Thursday 6pm, for 10 weeks. At the end of the 10 week period, runners receive a medal and take part in a graduation event at Carrickfergus parkrun. During 2013 and 2014 over 150 people have signed up on Jog Carrickfergus programmes.

This is a free programme run twice weekly for ten weeks. Its targeting absolute beginners preparing them to run a 5k parkrun on completion of the programme. The emphasis is on enjoyment, participants progress at their own pace. Jog Belfast Woodvale is a free 10 week training programme designed for complete beginners . It's structured to allow each individual to progress at a pace relative to their own fitness levels .
All training sessions are over seen by a qualified UKA athletics coach
The next programme starts on Monday 1st September and runs for ten weeks . Each session takes place every Monday and Wednesday evenings starting at 6-30pm to 7-30pm .
The programme takes place inside Woodvale Park and we meet each evening at the Bowling Pavilion and there is ample car parking behind the pavilion . You can excess WoodVale Park from the side entrance via Woodvale avenue .
The programme is open to everyone no matter what fitness level they may be at . This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get into running or just to get fit and improve their general well being .
Each person who completes the programme will run a graduation 5k at the waterworks Park run on Saturday the 8th November.

JogBelfast (South) is a free 10 week Running Fitness program aimed at beginners which aims to take you from your couch to running a 5k at Ormeau Parkrun and beyond.
The program is managed and jointly brought to you by Qualified Running Coaches from the Fitness Team at Shaftesbury Recreation Centre (www.Lorag.org) who are based on the Ormeau Road and Belfast Running Club. Who are Actively Engaged in Delivering and Promoting Running Fitness in South Belfast.
The JogBelfast (South) Autumn program will start on Tuesday the 2nd of September 2014 and will Run to Saturday the 15th of November 2014. There will be 2 weekly training sessions for 10 weeks with on Graduation 5k Run at Ormeau Parkrun on Saturday the 15th of November 2014.

Our goal is to help you enjoy running, have fun and meet other runners. Many people go on to run parkruns, 10ks, and even marathons but they all started in JogBelfast. Our team is made up of experienced runners and friendly coaches, led by Liam McGarry (BelfastRunning.com and Head Coach at Belfast Running Club). You will be supported the whole way, and will also learn about warm-ups, cool down stretches, breathing, pacing and general running tips.
Sessions start Wed 3rd September and finish on Sat 8th November with a graduation parkrun. Sessions will last up to an hour, as follows:
Wed: 6:30pm - 7:30pm (Ormeau Park, floodlit gravel pitch)
Sat: 8am - 9am (Ormeau Park)
Meet at Gravel Pitch, beside the Ozone Car-Park (free parking). After a few weeks we may take a session or two outside Ormeau Park to liven it up (plenty of notice will be given). If you have any other queries, check out the FAQ section or give Liam a call. Hopefully see you running soon :)

Jog Belfast East coached by Orangegrove AC
A free 10 week programme for people of all abilities designed to encourage an active lifestyle.
Training sessions delivered by UKA qualified Athletics Coaches from Orangegrove AC.
The program starts on Thursday 4th September. The 5k Graduation Run is on Saturday 8th November. We have two sessions per week - Thursday @ 1830, Saturday @ 1030.
